Interviewees want a conversation, not an interrogation. You've likely heard this before, but using HireVue to record your own one-sided interview is extremely anxiety-inducing for most people. Interviewing is a two-way street the interview process is for both the interviewer and interviewee to ask questions and learn about each other. However, I can confidently say that using HireVue is scaring off your best candidates. One of the reasons I left the recruiter world was how difficult it was to find the right "fit" for a position.
